The meteorology of the NASA InSight mission on Mars is performed with Spanish instrumentation
NASA's InSight (Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport) mission landed on Monday, November 26, 2018, to place a robot equipped with a seismograph to study the early geological evolution of the planet Mars.
GEONICA supplies SEMS-PV Solar Resource Measurement and Meteorology Stations for Benban Solar Park (Egypt), the world's largest photovoltaic project
GEONICA has supplied the weather stations for several plants of the Benban Solar Park complex, a photovoltaic installation of a total of 1 650 MW located in the western desert in Benban (Egypt), which once completed will be the largest photovoltaic installation in the world. Benban Solar Park occupies an area of 37 km2 which is divided into 41 subplants assigned to different companies.
GEONICA presents its products at the world's largest meteorological trade fair - Meteorological Technology World Expo 2018
As has been customary in recent years, GEONICA attended the Meteorological Technology World Expo which will take place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from 9 to 11 October 2018.
GEONICA will present its products at the InterSolar 2018 exhibition
As has become increasingly common in recent years, GEÓNICA will be attending the InterSolar exhibition in Munich, Germany, from June 20-22, 2018.
GEONICA participates and sponsors in the conference of the Technical Association of Roads on winter road management systems
Organised by the Technical Road Association, on 22 March 2018 the technical conference "MDSS - Winter road management systems, a possible improvement" was held in the Assembly Hall of the Spanish Engineering Institute
Solar spectral network (SSN) in Armenia and Canada based on SEMS-2000/3000
In recent years GEONICA has supplied measurement stations for the National Networks for the Evaluation of the Solar Energy Resource of Armenia and Canada, with the particularity that includes measurement of solar radiation resolved spectrally. These networks are based on our SEMS-2000/3000 system, which together with the measurement of global solar radiation incorporates its own solar tracker design, the SUN TRACKER-2000/3000 that enables the measurement of both diffuse and direct solar radiation.
